The Rise of the Tomb Raider

During Microsoft’s conference at Gamescom 2014, it was announced that Square Enix’s The Rise of the Tomb Raider will be exclusive to Xbox when it’s released in “Holiday 2015”. The announcement was greeted with outrage from PlayStation and PC gamers, who were eagerly awaiting the return of Lara Croft following her highly successful 2013 reboot, Tomb Raider.

EA Access

The likes of Netflix, blinkbox and Amazon Instant Video (formerly Lovefilm) have changed the way we access films. The on-demand services allow users to stream movies from a huge library for as little as £5.99 a month. That’s cheaper than buying the latest DVD release and it’s considerably less than an outing to the cinema. In fact, £5.99 would just about buy you a drink and popcorn.
