Fresh from appearances on “Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central” and “Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled”, Stuart Goldsmith is embarking upon his second UK tour, which stops off in Darlington in March 2017.

Stuart Goldsmith is best known for being the host of the “bewilderingly popular” “Comedian’s Comedian” podcast, which has had over 6 million downloads worldwide and is also one of Ricky Gervais’ favourite shows.

The podcast is highly regarded within the comedy industry both in the UK and abroad and is for anyone who writes comedy, makes comedy, loves comedy, or just has an interest in comedians and what makes them so annoying.

As part of the podcast, Goldsmith has interviewed the leading lights of the comedy world in real depth, including stars such as Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Sarah Millican.

During his latest show, “Compared to What”, Stuart Goldsmith gently mocks motorcyclists, lateral thinking, nitrous oxide and feather head-dresses, whilst considering the big questions:

  • How much should one spend on an ear-thermometer?
  • Is everywhere West of Leigh Delamere basically Fairyland?
  • How much compromise is too much?

Following its run at Edinburgh Fringe, the show received a four star review from The List, who described Goldsmith as a “talented gag writer”.

Stuart Goldsmith brings his “Compared to What” show to Seen on Wednesday, March 15th, 2017. Tickets for this show are £10 (£8 for concessions), which can be purchased from the Hilarity Bites Comedy Club website.

To whet your appetite, Goldsmith is giving away a free digital copy of his debut album, “Princess Uncle Stu”. To download the album and to find out more about Stuart Goldsmith, visit the Comedian’s Comedian website.
