Take Me Out

Let the banana, see the split, as a man from Darlington is set to appear on “Take Me Out” this Saturday.

21-year-old Cole Hunter, who drives a digger for a living, is a contestant on the ITV dating game show, which is hosted by comedian Paddy McGuinness.

Take Me Out sees single men showing off their talent in the hope of securing a date with one of thirty single women. If successful, the couple go on a date to the fictitious Isle of Fernando.

Speaking to What’s On Darlo, Cole described his time on the game show as an “amazing experience”.

He said: “I applied for a laugh, but once I found out I was going to be on, I was over the moon.

As part of the show, Cole showed off his motorcross bike riding – one of his favourite hobbies.

Hunter is also set to appear on “Take Me Out: The Gossip” – a sister show which takes a look behind-the-scenes of the main programme.

He concluded: “I couldn’t have met any nicer people. I have made friends for life from all ages and places. I absolutely loved it.”
