Chasing Grace

Grace Ackerman, Phil Plested, Phil Leigh and Matt Holmes make up Chasing Grace – an indie-pop group who formed at Rickmansworth School in Hertfordshire. The four friends got their big break after performing at a “Battle of the Bands” competition at the school, where they impressed none other than Shahid Khan, better known as Naughty Boy.

Rosie Lowe

It’s no surprise that Rosie Lowe has pursued a career in music. The Devon-born singer-songwriter comes from a family of musicians, who brought her up on a rich musical diet, which saw her learning how to play the violin and the piano by the age of five.

Heavily inspired by jazz and soul musicians such as Ella Fitzgerald, Joni Mitchell and Billie Holiday, Lowe has been compared to the likes of Laura Mvula, Solange Knowles and Jessie Ware, and it’s clear to see why.

Laura Welsh - "Soft Control"

Laura Welsh is a fine example of an artist’s sheer persistence and hard work paying off. The Staffordshire-born singer/songwriter began her music career as the front woman of indie rock group Laura and the Tears.

Following the band’s split, Welsh embarked on a solo career under the Hey Laura alias, before finally settling on her birth name for the release of her content.
