After the huge success of LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy in 2005 and 2006 respectively, it seemed stupid for LucasArts not to capitalize on the LEGO game franchise and in 2007, they announced LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures.
